Back when everyone was excited about the seemingly endless potential of the metaverse, metaverse real estate was hot. But now the bubble has burst, and we’re in a metaverse winter.
Jay Peters of The Verge attended the Decentraland Fashion Week and found it difficult to navigate and sparse and glitchy.
However, Decentraland Fashion Week attendance dropped from 108k in 2022 to 26k this year. However, perhaps the key to retention in the metaverse is not real estate. It might be something totally different that we have yet to see.
