Meta Will Layoff 10000 More People

Meta CEO and Founder Mark Zuckerberg said on March 14th that he is going to cut 10,000 people out to boost efficiency in 2023.

The most recent of a larger wave of layoffs affecting 10,000 employees will begin tomorrow. The last round of sackings of the biz team is coming in late May. Facebook warns that layoffs will probably continue throughout the year. Managers do not need more than ten direct subordinates. The company has stopped supporting unprofitable projects. Meta and its layoffs show the hard economic reality companies face today.

Meta’s decision to prioritize the metaverse is in line with its long-term vision, despite the ongoing layoffs.
