Beeple already marked history with the $69 million sales of his artwork, “Everydays: The First 5000 Days”, at the Christies auction. Another of his masterpiece, “Human One”, was sold for a whopping $29 million.
Beeple, also known as Mike Winkelmann, is a graphic designer who initiated the 3D graphic everyday movement. He creates a picture every day from start to finish and posts it online daily.
His latest NFT represents the hybrid of a physical and a digital human. Over 2-meters high, this NFT is the portrait of the first human born in the Metaverse.
Beeple himself describes the piece as “Both the object and its NFT display dynamically changing imagery drawn at random from a data pool of the artist’s visual creations that is accessed via the Ethereum blockchain.”
On the other hand, NFTs are constantly being questioned by those who are skeptical of the nature of digital assets.
However, we should pay attention to these tokens as they are becoming a fascinating part of the art world. Creating unlimited possibilities for creative artists, NFTs have opened new doors of revenue and recognition.
