Russian content creator claims Merdeka 118 video is ‘real’, announces NFT release.

A Russian content creator has shared details about her alleged climb at the Merdeka 118 building in Kuala Lumpur amid local police investigations into the authenticity of a viral video. In a January 4 tweet, Angela Niklaus said she had watched the building from a nearby, rented apartment. She will release the NFT of that climbing video.

Nikolau said she got caught and was hidden in a concrete box for over 20 hours. She took the opportunity later to reach the top of the building when the construction workers were on break. Nikolau has stated that she would release an NFT of her climb. She wants someone else to own this achievement. Nikolau: I’m unsure if I can get an nft of my climb done. Nicoleu has had a negative response from people on the platform, who slammed her.

The news about a pair saying they scaled Merdeka 118 went viral last week. A spokesman says legal action will be taken against anyone found trespassing into the building. Police say they are working with the Malaysia Communications Multimedia Commission. They are trying to find out if the video is authentic. The video was released on Tuesday.
