The Dubai Esports & Games Festival (DEF 2023) will take place from June 21 to 25 at the South Halls, Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City. The festival aims to promote Dubai’s position as a global hub for esports and gaming, featuring events such as an interactive consumer show, regional and influencer esports tournaments, a business conference, and a B2B networking event. The GameExpo Summit will also serve as a forum for regional leaders to collaborate on ways to further springboard the strong growth in the gaming industry.
The festival will also offer an education engagement program, providing school and university students with a platform to explore gaming and esports as future career paths. More than 100 speakers across ten tracks will participate in the GameExpo Summit, highlighting pressing topics facing the games industry, such as new technologies and trends in development, fintech and monetisation, and the unprecedented growth of the MENA market. The festival and summit offer an excellent opportunity to showcase the best local and global talent and minds in the industry.
